Key Responsibilities:

  • Has strict control of optimum stocks on floor.
  • Maintains hygienic conditions for shoppers at all times.
  • Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
  • Ensures all POP and price point displays are updated and up before store opens for the day.
  • Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Promotes optimum staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements and conveys the same up the chain.
  • Ensures availability of merchandise and services at all times.
  • Ensures merchandise is secure at all times.
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
  • Does regular floor walks throughout the day.
  • Leads operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program procedures.
  • Overall responsibility of P&L for the Store.

Education Requirements and Experience Preferences

  • Graduate for SM & High school / Diploma for ASM
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of retail management experience for SM & 2-3yrs for ASM
